Pay-as-you-go (PAYG) is only available to gymnasts who have just recently started. The date this is stopped is usually the 1st of the month (unless stated otherwise). From the 1st of the month, you will be expected to set up a standing order which comes out automatically on the 1st of every month. Information on how to do this is given to you when you first join and you will have reminders of when and how to do this. PLEASE NOTE IT IS THE PARENTS RESPONSIBILITY TI SET THIS UP NOT TWIST AND FLIP’S.

Please refer to our policies tab under information to read about the subscription policy.

Insurance is set in place to protect the gymnasts and the coaches in case of things such as accidents, like car insurance! Even if you are doing Pay-as-you-go, you will still need this in place. The insurance runs from 1st October all the way through to 30th September (this is when it needs to be renewed). If your child does not have insurance before their first session then they will not be allowed to train.

We recommend t-shirt and shorts as it can get warm during the sessions! Leotards are not compulsory but are welcomed (check out our shop!). We ask for no crop tops, jeans and dresses as when using equipment they can be incredibly impractical. Please bring joggers and hoodies during the colder months.

We recommend all gymnasts to bring:

  • A full water bottle
  • Easy to remove shoes such as crocs, sliders or flip flops
  • A jumper or jacket for arrival and leaving the session
  • £1 for the tuck shop! (Grimsby venue ONLY)

If your child would like to leave, we require a 30 days notice as per our subscription policy. Within this 30 days, you will be sent an email regarding the last session your child can attend and what is owed. There is no obligation to attend in that 30 days.

This is different for each of our venues. Grimsby’s waiting list is typically between 4-6 months. Preston and Barton’s waiting list is typically 2-3 months. We aim to get your child starting as soon as possible!

The answer is YES!

Our Grimsby venue is open 50 weeks of the year (closed Christmas and new year), excluding bank holidays due to low numbers. If your child’s session is on a Monday please note a replacement session will be allocated for them.

Our Preston venue is open 48 weeks of the year, which includes Christmas and new year and two weeks in summer. Please check with the admin team regarding these specific dates and classes. Please note preschool classes are term time only.

Our Barton venue is open 47 weeks of the year. Please contact the admin team regarding more information.

This depends on the venue. In Grimsby, we have a waiting area with a viewing screen. In Barton and Preston, unfortunately, you cannot stay and watch. However, on special occasions we do parent viewings.

Due to health and safety reasons, we ask for all jewellery to be removed before sessions. If your child has had their ears pierced recently, within the 6 week healing period, they need to be taped up before arriving at sessions, but only during this time. Please note that TWIST AND FLIP ARE NOT responsible for taping your gymnasts ears.
