Frequently asked questions
Does my child need to bring anything?
Please make sure your gymnast brings plenty to drink. Our tuck shop will be open during breaks and everything on the trolley will be £1.00. If possible your child can come with correct money as we do not have change on site.
What does my child need to wear?
All participants need to wear leggings/shorts & T-shirts. We do not allow crop tops as this is for health & safety reasons whilst on apparatus.
Can my child wear Jewellery ?
We do not allow Jewellery so please make sure this is removed prior to the session If for any reason your child attends with earrings in we are not permitted to take them out. If they can not be removed due to the 6 week period please make sure they are covered (tape/plaster) prior to the session.
How old do children have to be?
We take children from 5 years old into our camps and it’s a great way to build their confidence and explore and take part in all sorts of fun activities.
What will they be doing in the camp?
All the children will be introduced to the team of coaches and also all the children on the camp, we then start off with warm up games and a stretch to prepare them for the day, and they will then take part in various activities! Towards the end of the session we do a few more games and a cool down before they finish for the day.
Can non members attend camps?
Yes, we find that anyone on our waiting list or anyone interested in joining but are still a little unsure this is the perfect time to come and join in our fun sessions and try it out. You won’t be disappointed!
Do we stay with our child at the camps?
No, we currently have a no parent policy due to health & safety, as we find when parents are there they spend a lot of time waving and running over to parents which could cause accidents and also distract them from what they are doing.
